Terms of Service
Article 1 (Application)
These terms apply to all users of the MLB ALERT app (hereinafter referred to as “the App”). By using the App, users agree to these terms of use.
Article 2 (Disclaimers)
Provision of the App
While we make every effort to provide the features of the App, we may change, suspend, or terminate the services without prior notice. Unexpected bugs or issues may also occur.
Relationship with MLB
This app has no relationship whatsoever with Major League Baseball (MLB) or any related organizations and is not an official service. All names and trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective rights holders.
Data Provision
Game score updates and other information displayed in this app are provided based on unofficial third-party data, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. Errors, omissions, or delays may occur in the data.
About Push Notifications
The App provides a function to send push notifications at specific times, but the timing of notification transmission and notification reception by the user cannot be guaranteed. Users agree that they will not hold MLB ALERT and its operators liable even if notifications are not received as expected.
Interruption or Suspension of Service
The App may temporarily suspend or interrupt services due to system maintenance, communication failures, or other technical issues. We are not responsible for any damages that users may incur due to this.
Use of Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Firebase, and advertising services (e.g., AdMob). We are not responsible for issues related to these services, which are governed by their respective providers’ terms.
Prerequisites for Use of the Service
A stable Internet connection is required to use this app. In addition, the app’s functions may not function properly due to failures in third-party services (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Firebase Cloud Messaging, etc.), but the Company shall not be held responsible in such cases.
User Responsibility
Users agree to use the App at their own responsibility and ensure they do not cause harm or inconvenience to other users or third parties.
Article 3 (Copyright)
The copyright for the App and its content belongs to us or our licensors. Users are prohibited from using the App in a manner that infringes on copyright, including unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or public display.
Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)
Users are prohibited from engaging in the following actions when using the App:
• Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
• Actions that infringe on the rights of other users or third parties
• Unauthorized use of the App’s functions
• Unauthorized access to the App
• Any other actions that we deem inappropriate
Article 5 (Changes or Termination of Service)
We may change or terminate the services of the App without prior notice to the users. We are not responsible for any damages users may incur due to the termination of services.
Article 6 (Handling of App Usage Information)
User information is handled appropriately in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, users agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
Article 7 (Changes to the Terms)
We may change these terms without notifying users. The new terms will become effective when they are published within the App.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
This app (MLB ALERT) collects and processes the following information as needed:
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), IP address, region and language settings, device information (OS version, model, etc.)
• Subscription purchase receipts and subscription status (via RevenueCat)
• Push notification tokens (used to deliver notifications)
2. Purposes of Use
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
• Ad delivery, personalization, and measurement (using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads)
• Subscription management, authentication, restoration, and fraud prevention (using RevenueCat)
• Delivery of push notifications and management of notification settings
• Quality improvement and troubleshooting

4. Information We Collect and Use Independently
In this app, we collect information about players for whom the user has enabled notifications (player names and counts), and use it to publish statistical graphs (e.g., number of registered players by user region) in an aggregated and anonymized form.
5. Consent and Choices
Users in the EEA/UK/CH are asked for consent via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). If consent is not granted, we serve non-personalized ads (NPA).
On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) allows you to choose whether to permit tracking. You can change this in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; reset advertising ID, etc. / Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
6. Retention Period
We retain information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes above and no longer than required by law.
7. Children
This app is not directed to children under 13. In-app ads are configured for a 13+ rating.
8. Security
We appropriately manage user information and implement appropriate technical measures to protect it from unauthorized access, leakage, and alteration. Communications are protected by TLS (HTTPS), and we do not store credit card or other payment information.
